The other day, my mom, my sister and I went to some thift stores in town and I found this really cool chair. I just had to have it! I paid a wooping $1.50 for it! It's missing two of the rungs, but it's still a pretty sturdy chair. I love it ( Read more... )

I took my sewing machine into the shop on Friday. They said it should be done between 7 and 10 busness days. :P I got a dress at Penny's the other day that's a wee bit short and I'm really wanting to go and add more to the hem, bit I can't! So, I have been working on a new skirt today. Yep, I made another skirt today. It has three triangluar gores in the front and back, and two bigger ones on the sides with pleats. I'm really liking it! This one too has an elastic waist (I didn't feel like darting out the excess or gathering demim) but I like it. Pic:

Today, I made a new skirt. (surprise, surprise) I really like it, infact, I am wearing ti right now! It took me a few hours a two spools for thread to do. I had to do the hem twice and the waistband twice, and my sewing mashine was acting up alot so I had to mess around with the tention for what seems like hours. I did get it to work though. I just desided last night that I want to make a new night gown to wear at the Immerson event at Fort Stillacoom. It's the Second Weekend in September.
